Trainee magicians compete at a magic school. The sorcerees face their penultimate magical subject: illusions. It is tough because this time they must learn two tricks, not just one. Miss Evans teaches her class how to transform one person into another, and shows them a stretching arm illusion, while Mr Knight shows his pupils how to make a person appear in an empty box, and demonstrates an arm-twisting trick. The sorcerees are split into mixed pairs for the challenge. Ben is unhappy at being paired with ambitious Amber again; after partnering her in the hip-hop clown-off, he steels himself for Amber taking charge. Having found himself in the bottom three last time, he would do well to heed her advice. Illusions are the grandest form of magic, and the sorcerees must demonstrate impressive showmanship skills to master the tricks. To bring out their inner showmen, they are set a rock'n'roll dance challenge, as performed by world champions the Mini Mezzos. Elizabeth has a job on her hands cajoling Harry into dancing at all, and Ayrton and Sarah battle through their lack of natural dance ability; but it is Tommy and Holly who have the most to prove. Who emerges as the dancing queen and who is a flop on the dancefloor?
