Sorcerer's Apprentice - Series 2 - Episode 10

A look back at the contest where twelve wannabe magicians battled it out over ten days for the ultimate prize in magic: to be the Sorcerer's Apprentice. From the moment they arrive at magic school, the trainee magicians are thrown into the deep end. Every two days, they must tackle some of the hardest magical themes in the world, from animal trickery to stage illusions, and perform their trickery to specially invited audiences. After each magic show, two sorcerees are eliminated from the contest, leaving just six in the final. To become a master magician, the sorcerees need to learn more than just magical technique. From hip hop clowning to a rock-and-roll dance-off, the sorcerees are also tested in a series of performance challenges, designed to turn them into confident stage performers. Miss Evans and Mr Knight take a break from the classroom to embark on a madcap and messy contest of their own, while magician on the move David Penn wows audiences up and down the country with his unique brand of street magic. As the number of sorcerees dwindles, the pressure rises, and the contest reaches its dramatic conclusion. Who will be crowned the Sorcerer's Apprentice?
