The ten remaining sorcerees are battling it out to become the Sorcerer's next apprentice. They're busy putting the final touches to their liquid magic tricks. The girls must make a drink appear as if from nowhere, whilst the boys have to switch liquids and transform them into something solid. Their future at magic school depends on these very tricks. Who goes on stage first could decide their fate, and as always the Sorcerer has a unique way of predicting the performance order. Will opening the show affect Ayrton's chances? He gave the magic ticket to Tommy after the flairing challenge. Will this decision cost him his place in the competition? To watch their liquid performances, the Sorcerer has invited an audience who know all about working with water: young fire fighters. Will they see a damp squib or blazing performances from the sorcerees? Even the most confident performers make the most of every spare minute backstage. Nervous Holly's anxiety levels peak when she misplaces a vital prop for her trick and Michael's routine runs into trouble when he doesn't get the audience on side. Ben's performance gets very messy, and Hannah shows the audience a bit too much of her trick. Who will sink and who will swim in liquid magic?
