This is it, the time has come for the Sorcerer to choose his next apprentice. For their final and most important performance the wannabe apprentices are pushing magic to the extreme. Their tricks are based on building suspense - the girls' routine involves tricky sleight of hand, while the boys' takes skilled misdirection and dexterity. But it is not easy. To demonstrate the standard he expects in the final, the Sorcerer has invited magician Shahid Malik to showcase his world-famous cardboard box illusion. The trick leaves the sorcerees open-mouthed in awe, only too aware of the challenge that lies ahead of them. Who takes to the stage first or last has never been more important. For his final performance order trick the Sorcerer has something truly shocking up his sleeve. The finalists are in position, the theatre is packed with ex-sorcerees, family and friends, the stage is set for the Sorcerer to choose his next apprentice. Who will do enough to win the ultimate magic prize?
