Sorcerer's Apprentice - Series 2 - 30 minute version - Episode 17

The atmosphere at magic school is tense. The six remaining sorcerees are all too aware that the Sorcerer must soon choose his next apprentice. After days of battle the sorcerees have to face one final hurdle, mastering their most challenging magical subject yet, extreme magic. To demonstrate it, the Sorcerer performs a trick which leaves them stunned. Everything hangs on this final extreme performance. Miss Evans teaches the girls to pick a volunteer's card out of thin air with their feet. Mr Knight shows the boys how to find a signed rubber duck in a pool of 100 identical ducks - blindfolded. While the finalists perfect their routines, the teachers' own bitter rivalry comes to a head when they compete in the Teacher Challenge decider, the Obstacle Course of Doom. The teachers must face every magical subject they have taught, from illusions to kids' magic, liquid to animals and only one can be victorious. David Penn is also pushing magic to the extreme in Magician on the Move. The Sorcerer grants each sorceree an exclusive audience but they are only allowed to ask one question. In these last crucial hours will they use the time wisely?
