John Simpson talks to the US ambassador to Iraq, Ryan Crocker, who along with General Petraeus, the commander of US forces in Iraq, has been presenting a report to Senate committees in Washington about US troop deployments in the country. Petraeus says that the surge of 30,000 troops deployed since February is producing stability, but his strategy has drawn criticism from senators, who are calling for a troop withdrawal. Simpson talks to Crocker about the recommendations and reactions.
