See Hear

Series 29, Episode 33

Contacting the emergency services has not always been a straightforward course of action for the deaf and hard of hearing. To tackle the inherent issues some police forces across the UK are rolling out a variety of initiatives aimed at improving the way they serve the deaf and hard of hearing public. Memnos Costi investigates two such schemes in operation in Hertfordshire and the West Midlands. Plus a look into hearing aids, past, present and future; and we catch up with the England Deaf Cricket team as they get themselves in shape for the World Cup in New Zealand.
