Presenter Richard Coles is joined by Sadie Jones, whose first novel The Outcast brought her a notable success, having been a finalist in the Orange Prize for Fiction. The book is set in in Surrey in the 1940s and 50s and looks at how a devastating loss can tear families and communities apart. She will be in the studio to cast her ear across the story of a man who won two bronze medals for Britain the last time the games came to London back in 1948. Chaka Khan tells us her Inheritance Tracks. And the featured poet is Elvis McGonagall.
