Bob is horrified to find photos of his infidelity posted on the internet. Deek quickly makes a phone call to get them taken down. Meanwhile Stella discovers the evidence by accident, and she cuts strips off Bob on Nicki's behalf. Stella's all for blowing the lie the boys have been living and telling Nicki the truth. Bob defends himself telling Stella that he really does love Nicki and that it was a terrible mistake. In fact, he tells both Stella and Deek, he's going to prove it! Bob decides to ask Nicki to marry him and tells Scarlett under the proviso that she doesn't let the cat out of the bag. Bob goes to the garage and, seeing Nicki, gives her a wad of cash and convinces her to take the day off and go shopping for a fabulous outfit with Amber. Nicki and Amber meet Scarlett in the cafe and a very excited Scarlett just about gives the game away. Deeply suspicious, the girls discuss whether Bob intends to pop the question. Nicki is obviously quite scared at the prospect of him proposing. Bob arranges to meet Nicki at Brocham Lom for dinner which gives her further cause for concern. Meanwhile Deek convinces Stella to keep quiet even though she is outraged that Bob's lie meant that Deek had been forced to take the blame for having the STD. A few wise words from Amber convince Nicki that maybe she shouldn't be viewing this proposal as a bad thing. As Nicki goes off to Brocham Lom to meet Bob, Scarlett calls Bob over to help her get rid of Molly. They meet and Bob suggests playing Molly at her own game. Desperate to get away to join Nicki, Bob is about to rush off but Scarlett unknowingly plants a seed of truth in him. She tells Bob the thing she loves about him so much is that she is so unlike his grandmother - he's honest and a good man. Bob leaves with those words gnawing at his heart. At Brocham Lom Nicki has readied herself for the big question. Bob arrives and just when it seems that he is about to ask Nicki to marry him, he wavers and then blurts out the truth. A distraught Nicki leaves the restaurant and dashes off. Bob eventually catches up with her and pours out his heart, begging for another chance. He finally asks her to marry him but Nicki refuses. She tells him that she loves him so much, but that everything they had is now broken. Nicki returns to the flat and packs her stuff, intent on going away to stay with Shirley. Both Stella and Amber try to convince her to stay but her mind is made up. She leaves and Bob is brokenhearted. Molly appears on her mobility scooter but this time she seems to have been in an accident. She tells Scarlett that some boys tipped her out of her scooter. She's come to Shieldinch to show Big Bob what a state she's in, scheming that he will come back and look after her again. Horrified by that thought, Scarlett is on a mission: over her dead body will Big Bob go back with Molly. Molly waits for Big Bob in the Ship then Jimmy takes her home with him, so he can keep an eye on her. Scarlett makes a pact with Big Bob that no matter what happens he won't cave in to Molly's demands. Molly continues to play the wounded soldier act and Scarlett sees her brother's resolve slowly being gnawed down. Scarlett turns to Bob for advice and then takes Molly on at her own game. Just when it looks like Big Bob is going to say yes to returning with Molly to look after her, Scarlett leaps in and offers to put her up. Aware she has been beaten at her own game but unable to say no, Molly agrees to stay. Ewan is distraught: he now knows that Lenny ordered the murder of his mother. Ewan's head is telling him to seek terrible revenge but his heart is frightened at what this will mean. Father Mulvaney tries to guide Ewan away from acting upon those feelings of revenge but Ewan doesn't seem to want to listen. Ewan goes back to the house where Lenny is planning a job. Lenny gives Ewan a gun in preparation for this job. Ewan is tempted to use it on his dad immediately - only the sudden appearance of Amber stops him in his tracks. He questions his dad about Mary but Lenny is very dismissive. Ewan then goes to confession to see the priest, asking Fr Mulvaney why he isn't helping him. In turmoil Ewan leaves believing that there is only one way forward and that's to take his dad's life. Back at the house, Ewan tries again but this time it's his own conscience that stays his hand. He meets Fr Mulvaney in the boatyard, frantic at what he sees as his own cowardice. Finally Fr Mulvaney convinces him to go to the police and get his revenge through the courts. He takes the gun from Ewan and Ewan returns home.
