Deek asks Bob how much longer Molly will be staying in the flat and Bob has to reassure his gran that he won't let Deek throw her out. Scarlett spots Molly in Montego Street and realises that she's been staying with Bob. Scarlett storms into Montego Motors and tells Bob that either Molly goes...or she does. Molly is then dismayed when Bob chooses his mum and tells his gran she has to leave. Scarlett is playing with Madonna in the backcourts when a middle-aged couple pass by. As Jimmy heads off to the pub the phone rings in the house and Scarlett leaves Madonna to go and answer it. When she comes off the phone she soon realises that Madonna is no longer in the backcourts. Looking down Montego Street there appears to be no sign of her, and Scarlett fears Madonna may have been taken and panics. Jimmy is shocked when he gets a call from Scarlett telling him the dreadful news. Robbie, Hayley and Jack hear Scarlett screaming for Madonna. They rush over to the backcourts to find Scarlett hysterical and a shocked Jimmy arrives and tries to console her. Iona is impressed when Big Bob stirs everyone into action and the hairdressers march off to start searching for Madonna. When Molly arrives she is horrified at the news and vows to tear Shieldinch apart herself to find her granddaughter. When Scarlett describes the strange couple from earlier Gina realises she may have served them in the Oyster. She recalls that they paid by card and rushes to get their details so the police can trace them. Big Bob then tells Iona he feels like a useless fake as he's terrified, but she comforts him by saying how wonderful he has been helping with the search. However in Montego Motors, Madonna is happily watching a DVD on a laptop, as Molly looks on from the shadows. Gina finds Scarlett and Jimmy to tell them that the couple from the Oyster aren't responsible, as they were looking at property. Scarlett breaks down when Gina also reveals that the police are searching by the river. Back in the house, Scarlett tells Big Bob how glad she is to have him around. Suddenly they hear clapping coming from outside; a crowd has formed as Molly leads Madonna home. An emotional Scarlett hugs her mother and Molly is delighted when Scarlett offers to let her stay for a while. Later Bob pops into Montego Motors and finds a packet of biscuits and a cup from Madonna's tea set. Suddenly it dawns on him that his gran was responsible for the kidnapping and he tells Scarlett what Molly did. A furious Scarlett confronts Molly, and she is about to call the police when Molly warns her not to and mysteriously threatens her about the fact she could make a call of her own. Scarlett reluctantly backs down and Bob is confused to find Molly unpunished and still welcome to stay with Jimmy and Scarlett. Molly is triumphant as Scarlett silently fumes. When Gina receives a package of household cleaning products left for her in Archie's with with a note suggesting she is dull and small-minded, she decides to be spontaneous and have an intimate dinner with Murray, letting him spend the night for the first time. At the salon, Jack tends to Gina, who feels under pressure to go for a more daring change of style. Back home, Gina puts on a new dress and makeup. Although Ruth tells her she looks fantastic once she's gone Gina's confident expression starts to fall. After the trauma of Madonna's disappearance, Gina is upset when her dinner with Murray doesn't go as planned, and he leaves early. Eileen pops home to find Gina sitting alone in her slippers feeling dull and boring just like Archie said she was. Eileen tells Gina to forget about Archie, and warns her not to push Murray away. Murray is pleased when Gina finds him in the pub and apologises, and they head back to her flat for the night. Jimmy tells Iona that Big Bob is down in the dumps because of woman trouble. Iona hears Big Bob playing guitar at community centre. She tells him he's talented but Bob is too hard on himself to appreciate the compliment and he pushes her away. Later Big Bob visits Iona in the deli and apologises for being terse with her earlier. He explains that it wasn't a girl that put him in a bad mood: it was the fact that he couldn't go through with an audition at a talent contest, as his nerves got the better of him. Iona accepts his apology and tells him they're holding a second audition for the competition. She offers to coach him on his confidence and Big Bob agrees.
