Rigoletto from Mantua

Katie Derham presents this film version of Verdi's tragic masterpiece Rigoletto, starring Placido Domingo in the title role. In Act 3 the action shifts to a location on the lake side of the city of Mantua, the haunt of Sparafucile, an assassin who Rigoletto has hired do away with Duke. But Rigoletto's vendetta turns out to have tragic consequences.
