The Rampage boys are wearing their sunglasses in the studio today. Where they partying too hard last night? Did we have the studio lights on too bright? Is summer back? (We wish) No they had a late night last night: Gaming. Geeks! It’s all because of a busy week in the world of gaming. Monday saw the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops and last night Microsoft launched the XBOX Kinect system. It basically uses motion sensors to enable you to use your bodies as a controller, just like on the Nintendo Wii. So Mike Anthony and Treble T got down to the launch to use their finely honed bodies (Treble) and Brain (Mike) in order to give it a verdict. We also spoke to some gamers in Newcastle to find out if they thought it would be a success. Mickey and Alex, from Milton Keynes, told us that they thought it would be bigger than the Wii! We took a little bit longer to savour the vibes of Jades Thought of the Day. It was a rare bit of peace and quiet in the Rampage studio! Bit of classic TLC and ‘Creep’? Lovely! And the only thing hot today was the decks: as ever Treble and Mike mixed and blended Xtra Hiphop, Xtra RnB, Xtra Dancehall, Xtra Drum & Bass, Xtra……
