Radio 3 Lunchtime Concert - Messiaen Centenary Series - Episode 2

Louise Fryer introduces a recital given at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall as part of the 2008 Messiaen centenary celebrations. Soprano Gweneth-Ann Jeffers, a noted Messiaen interpreter, is joined by pianist Simon Lepper for a performance of Poemes pour Mi, the composer's love song to his wife violinist and composer Claire Delbos - nicknamed Mi - as well as a work by Debussy.
