Swiss trumpeter Giuliano Sommerhalder, still only in his mid-20s, has an international solo career as well as being principal trumpet with the famous Leipzig Gawandhaus Orchestra. He is a member of the Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme and today performs an eclectic mix of trumpet repertoire.
