Radio 3 at the Summer Festivals Presented by Sean Rafferty. In the final concert from 2009 Clandeboye Music Festival, Barry Douglas performs music by Debussy and Schumann, before bringing the event to a dramatic close with a recital of Mussorgsky's virtuoso showpiece Pictures at an Exhibition. It depicts the composer's visit to an exhibition of drawings and watercolours by his friend, the Russian architect and artist Viktor Hartmann.
