Radio 3 60th Anniversary Concert

Petroc Trelawney presents a special concert recorded in 2006 at the Barbican in London celebrating 60 years of Radio 3. The programme features Dvorak's Suite in A and Beethoven's Symphony No.3, Eroica, along with an evocative new work written especially for the occasion by the British composer Jonathan Dove, Hojoki: An account of my Hut, a cantata for counter-tenor and orchestra. Soloist Lawrence Zazzo is joined by the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jiri Belohlavek.
