Two of television's best-known antiques experts - Mark Franks and Lorne Spicer - battle each other at an auction, where they must spend 1,000 pounds of their own money purchasing the items that they think will make them the most profit. Then they must sell their purchases with the aim of making as much money as possible, testing their knowledge and expertise to the limit. There can only be one winner - the expert who makes the biggest profit.
