Every day, two chefs go head-to-head to buy food, prepare dishes and sell to diners at some of the country's most diverse and high-end restaurants. Selling more dishes than their rival and winning the competition has never been more important. The chefs putting their own money and reputations on the line are John Burton-Race, Nick Nairn, Gino D'Acampo, Aldo Zilli, James Tanner, Paul Rankin, Ed Baines, Atul Kochhar, Richard Phillips, and Galton Blackiston. Gino D'Acampo and James Tanner square up to each other as they take on a mass catering challenge on an epic scale. At an outside kitchen in the middle of a Viking Festival in York, our duelling duo must draw a crowd from the thousands of festivalgoers. The chefs must provide one meat or fish dish, one vegetarian dish and one dessert each. Whoever tempts enough customers to part with their cash to make the most profit will win.
