Pre-Hear

Albert Schnelzer is a young Swedish composer who already has a large number of chamber works to his credit. His music is suffused with two vital elements: dance and song which generate works of either headlong impetuousness or haunting lyricism. From a recent CD, two works that illustrate those extremes: Frozen Landscape, for cello and piano, and Predatory Dances for violin, cello and piano.
