Stop-frame animation. Postman Pat and his cat Jess deliver the post to residents of Greendale, including Mrs Goggins the post-mistress, Reverend Timms, PC Arthur Selby and Dr Sylvia Gilbertson. It's National Recycling Week and the village holds a jumble sale. Everyone donates their old rubbish and soon realises that although something might be worthless to one person, it has great value to somebody else. Julian recycles Pat's old newspapers into papier-mache piggybanks, which rapidly sell out.
