Pinky and Perky - Red Snout Day

A 3D CGI animated comedy series for six- to 11-year-olds with two piggy brothers causing havoc in TV-land. Pinky and Perky are a pair of piglets who have just been given their big break in showbiz: their own live children's television show full of crazy stunts, mad games, wild cartoons and top celebrity guests. Their show is loud, messy, funny and frequently out of control, which makes it very unpopular with the old guard of the TV station. One way or another, they're going to get those pesky pigs off the air! When Perky and a rival compete to look the most generous on a charity TV special, it's the charity that ends up in need. It's the day of the Telethon, to raise money for hedgehog pedestrian crossings. Everyone is in a charitable mood; even Tara and Tamara join in with the day's events. However, Perky and Vera both have new productions to plug and realise this is the perfect opportunity to raise some money for themselves. With both trying to outdo each other through shameless self-promotion, Perky's action figure and Vera's self-help book become the main focus of the Telethon. However, when Pinky reminds everyone what they are really there to do, they are moved to tears and donations come pouring in. Even Perky and Vera get caught up in the moment and give all their profits to the poor hedgehogs - regretting it later of course.
