From the Ulster Hall in Belfast, the Ulster Orchestra and conductor Michal Dworzynski with a concert from their cycle Chopin @ 200, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the composer's birth, this time with a strong Russian flavour. The repertoire, which alternates orchestral pieces with piano solo, includes music by Borodin, Chopin (some arranged by Glazunov) and Tchaikovsky. The soloist is the Russian virtuoso Nikolai Demidenko. Presented by Martin Handley.
