With Tom Service. The BBC Singers welcome their new Chief Conductor David Hill with a concert that they've called 'Out of This World', especially designed for Halloween. The programme includes new 'ghostly' works by Andrew Simpson and Judith Bingham, medieval plainsong via the sacred music of William Byrd, partsongs and folk-song arrangements by Ravel and Vaughan Williams, and rarely heard music (in the UK at least) from leading Swedish composer Arne Mellnas.
