Presented by Catherine Bott. Young Macedonian pianist Simon Trpceski features in a concert given at Wigmore Hall in London. Young and old are catered for in Debussy's work composed for his daughter, and in Prokofiev's Grandmother's Tales. These are framed by Chopin's monumental second sonata which includes the famous Funeral March as its third movment, and Prokofiev’s 7th Sonata, composed during the Second World War.
