Presented by Martin Handley. A concert with Edinburgh-born conductor Nicholas Kraemer conducting the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in the first of Handel's 12 Op 6 Grand Concertos. This is followed by two Scottish premieres - Thea Musgrave's Points of View, which explores musical elements including tonality, rhythm and melody, and Magnus Lindberg's Violin Concerto, written for the 2008 Mostly Mozart Festival in New York with violinist Jack Liebeck.
