Using undercover footage recorded in two major hospitals, an investigation into alleged serious failings in UK maternity services. BBC researcher Hayley Cutts worked as a volunteer in Barnet Hospital in London and St Mary's Hospital in Manchester, where she met midwives and patients who felt that understaffing and lack of resources were affecting patient care. Jeremy Vine asks why, with NHS spending at an all-time high, women around the country are having dreadful experiences.
