Carol Klein presents a series which follows 20 gardeners as they attempt to have their gardens accepted into the demanding National Gardens Scheme. Peta and Paul at The Birches are a design-loving couple who work on their garden together, and they need advice on planting for their shady area. Christine at The Old Bakery is going to impose design on her garden for the first time, and wants to plant a large gravel garden to transform her small lawn.
