When the ice sheets finally released their grip on Britain, the Isle of Skye was one of the most attractive options for the new human settlers. Until now, evidence of these mesolithic islanders was sparse, rotted by the wet climate and the acidic peat soil. Matt joins a dig which is gradually revealing the lifestyle of these early residents.
