Documentary series about the Chelsea Pensioners, former British soldiers who live in the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. Women are coming to the hospital and it is a case of when, not if. But is this all-male bastion prepared for the first women in scarlet? Ex-Regimental Sergeant Major Agnes Doig, Second World War girl gunner Barbara Wetherall and Warrant Officer Winifred Phillips visit, and put the Hospital and the men through their paces to see if life there could be for them.
