Country magazine. Elinor Goodman visits expat farmers Robin and Caroline Pollitt in the Lot-et-Garonne region of South West France. They left the UK 5 years ago to purchase a dilapidated 6 hectare farm. They have planted raspberries and blackcurrants, from which they produce jam, coulis and cakes. They also run a cattery and kennels on site to look after the pets belonging to the many expats in the area, but their real love is getting to know the local farmers and embracing their way of life.
