Tim Brabants will hopefully have ecured his second final place in the K1 500, and many hope to see Lucy Wainwright in the Women's K1 500. The modern pentathlon moves on to the riding phase, and it is very much a lottery, as riders have no say on which horse they have to compete. Britain's Sam Weale and Nick Woodbridge hope the draw is kind to them. And in table-tennis there is more action from the singles competition. The women are at the quarter-final stage and the men are competing for quarter final places. Plus, news of other events. including the first volleyball women's semi-final.
