O Lucky Man!

John Harris presents a documentary investigating the life and work of the film director Lindsay Anderson. The programme focuses on If..., O Lucky Man! and Britannia Hospital, the trilogy of films Anderson made with Malcolm McDowell featuring the character Mick Travis. With contributions from McDowell himself, Stephen Frears, Helen Mirren and writer David Sherwin, Harris examines Anderson's vision of Britain and his contradictory character.
