Animated numbers solve real world mathematical problems, with help from real children. In the gym, 6 and his buddy tiles are making patterns on the floor and flying around. A girl's bedcover is too small and then too big. A teacher covering a table for painting finds the sheet gets too small then too big. It's the Puzzler at work! 6 meets the Puzzler's challenges to measure the area of different shapes, which gets more and more complicated. They measure the shapes using paper sheets like the buddy tiles. The Puzzler admits defeat and goes. Back at base the Buddy Tiles try to measure 4.
