Dramatisation based on an M R James short story and in the tradition of the BBC's ghost stories for Christmas. Oxbridge academic, Anderson settles into The Golden Lion Hotel in a small cathedral city to research its ecclesiastical history, when the subject of his research begins to disturb his slumber.
