Nigel Ogden presents one of his occasional programmes devoted to well-known figures from the world of music whose birthdays fall in any one particular month and this seems to be as good a time as any to take a look at the list for October. Featuring the playing of Reginal Dixon, Buddy Cole and Douglas Reeve the musical memories are provided by Johann Strauss, Bizet, Pavarotti and John Lennon.
