As part of 6 Music's Never Too Old To Rock N Roll Bank Holiday rave special, Nemone is joined by Cream founder James Barton. A regular behind the decks at Cream ten years ago, these days James Barton jets around the globe organising dance festivals under the Creamfields banner. Cream, based at the Nation nightclub in Liverpool, is one of the best-known night clubs in the UK. It began life as a weekly house music night at Nation, and ran in this format for ten years, from October 1992 to June 2002. Over ten years of weekly Saturday nights at Nation, the club played host to many international DJ superstars, including Paul Oakenfold (who was resident DJ from 1997 to 1999), Paul van Dyk, and Sasha, plus early exclusive DJ sets from The Chemical Brothers.
