Music Matters

Tom Service visits Budapest to explore how musical life has changed in Hungary since the fall of communism. The country was important in developments in the months leading up to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Tom explores areas from the legacy of Liszt, Bartok and Kodaly, to state education and the all-pervading influence of Hungarian folk music.
