Summer Holiday, an innocent tale of adventure and high jinks on a road trip around Europe on a red London bus, was yet another huge hit for Cliff Richard, the rebellious rocker who had exploded onto the pop scene in the late 1950s. The film proved to be the perfect vehicle to drive Cliff from rock 'n' roll into major movie stardom, following the route of his idol Elvis Presley. Sir Cliff is joined by his leading lady Lauri Peters and fellow travellers Melvyn Hayes, Jeremy Bulloch, Teddy Green and director Peter Yates in recalling one of the biggest British movies of the '60s. Narrated by Ashley Jensen.
