If you're selling a property from December, you'll be expected to stump-up at least £600 for a 'Home Report'. They're being introduced so that individual buyers don't have to shell-out for individual surveys when they've no guarantee they'll be successful. But this morning solicitors at the Scottish Law Agents Society are urging the Scottish Government to delay the introduction of the reports. They've accused the Government of covering up their true cost and claim they'll destroy the already-fragile housing market. Will it put sellers off? Or is it more important to cater for the needs of first time buyers who're already finding it difficult to secure a mortgage? Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
