Do you know someone with dementia who's being poorly treated in a care home? A damning report by The Care Commission and Mental Welfare Commission has found that people with dementia in care homes are being poorly treated. After visiting 30 care homes they found that drugs had been hidden in food illegally to make patients more manageable and about half never went outside.
