How do we tackle Scotland's addiction to booze? Drug and alcohol abuse is costing the Scottish economy nearly £5bn a year, according to the spending watchdog Audit Scotland. Yet, despite there being three times as many deaths from alcohol than drugs, we're spending three times LESS on the booze problem. So do we need to treat alcoholism more seriously?
