Do people on benefits deserve more help? A report out today from a right-leaning think tank claims that the unemployed often earn more in benefits than they do in work. The Centre for Social Justice proposes spending more than £3.7bn to subsidise those on low wages in order to make work pay for more people. Are those on the dole trapped by the system?
