Should the government get tougher on bankers' bonuses? The Prime Minister has spoken of there being "no rewards for failure" when it comes to bonuses for the executives of our bailed-out banks. However there are reports that the Royal Bank of Scotland is looking at bonus payouts to senior staff, possibly running to hundreds of millions of pounds. The bank says no decisions have been taken and the Treasury says any deals will need approval from the Government company which holds the taxpayer's 70 per cent stake in the bank. But, with President Obama capping executive pay at bailed-out US banks, should Gordon Brown be doing the same here? Plus: Have you ever suffered from anti-Englishness?
