We tend to think of the universe as consisting of matter and energy, arrayed in space and time. But to a quantum physicist like Vlatko Vedral of Oxford University, all the world is information. There's the information in our books and websites and in the DNA in our cells; but in a sense, the entire universe and its workings are the ebb and flow of information.
