The 2007 Women's World Cup gets underway in Shanghai with world and European champions Germany playing Argentina. Both of these teams are in England's group. The Germans will be favourites but Argentina have made great progress under Carlos Borello in recent years and beat Brazil to claim the continental title in 2006.
