The Three Lions are the favourites to top Group C, but will know better than to underestimate their American opponents. The USA famously beat England at the 1950 World Cup, and will be gunning for another scalp in Rustenburg. In Group B, Greece go in search of their first World Cup point against South Korea, semi-finalists as recently as 2002. The Greeks lost all three matches in their only previous appearance in 1994, but will be a tough nut to crack under experienced coach Otto Rehhagel. The day's early game is a mouth-watering clash between Argentina and Nigeria at Ellis Park. The Super Eagles will have to stop Argentine superstar Lionel Messi.
