Gary Lineker introduces highlights of the day's matches in the Barclays Premier League. Arsenal hosted Hull at the Emirates, hoping to avoid the upset that the Tigers sprang on them in the corresponding fixture in 2008 courtesy of a 2-1 win. Manchester United also have unhappy memories of their last visit to Craven Cottage, when a 2-0 defeat threatened to derail their title hopes. Ultimately, however, it didn't stop the Red Devils retaining their title and they would have been looking for three more points to boost their hopes of a fourth consecutive championship. Liverpool managed to avoid a shock at Portsmouth in 2008/09, but only thanks to two goals in the last five minutes from Dirk Kuyt and Fernando Torres, which gave the Reds a 3-2 win. Former Manchester United team-mates Mark Hughes and Steve Bruce went head-to-head at Eastlands where Hughes' Manchester City played host to Bruce's Sunderland. Other games saw Stoke visit Aston Villa and Tottenham travel to Blackburn.
