Gary Lineker presents highlights from the first round of Premier League fixtures of the new year. Liverpool's title challenge continues against Stoke City, who held the Reds to a goalless draw at Anfield and have proved a hard team to beat at the Britannia Stadium this season. Arsenal play host to Bolton Wanderers, a team who have been something of a bete noire for Arsene Wenger in seasons gone by. Aston Villa have looked like credible top four challengers so far this season but Martin O'Neill would be the first to admit that keeping up their form going into the second half of the campaign will be an even tougher task, especially given the lack of depth in their squad. They host fellow Midlanders West Bromwich Albion, whose current ambitions are limited to Premier League survival. Another derby game sees Middlesbrough meet Sunderland, who have scored last-gasp goals in their last three games against their North East rivals. The last six meetings between Newcastle United and West Ham United have seen an average of four goals a game - who will be hitting the net when the sides meet on Tyneside? Hull City travel to Everton in the remaining game.
