Gary Lineker introduces coverage of Spain v Switzerland from Durban. Spain are favourites to win a first-ever World Cup and will be keen to kick-off their campaign with a commanding performance. The Euro 2008 champions are bursting with talent, including strikers Fernando Torres and David Villa and Barcelona midfield duo Andres Iniesta and Xavi. Switzerland are appearing in their ninth finals but haven't progressed beyond the first knock-out round since 1938. But coach Ottmar Hitzfeld is a highly-experienced manager and a two-time Champions League winner, and the Swiss are hopeful of a best-ever World Cup showing.
