Adrian Chiles presents highlights from the day's six Premier League games. The pick of the fixtures is Chelsea v Liverpool. There has not been much love lost between the two teams in recent seasons but this was the first time the Reds had faced Chelsea since Luiz Felipe Scolari took over at Stamford Bridge. Recent meetings have been mostly tight affairs where goals are few and far between but the last time the teams squared up, Chelsea were triumphant after a seven-goal thriller in the Champions League semi-final. West Ham have been a thorn in Arsenal's side on several occasions in recent years but Arsene Wenger's men did the double over their London rivals last season and will look to maintain their title credentials with three points against Gianfranco Zola's team. Stoke and Manchester City both have proud traditions in the top flight but their meeting at the City of Manchester Stadium was their first in the Premier League. Also in action are Spurs who entertained Bolton, Portsmouth who face Fulham and Aston Villa who travel to Wigan.
